Alison Maria Krauss, born on July 23, 1971, is an American artist and performer. Her age was just teen when she first entered the music world, having won local contests as early as 10 years of age and recording her first album at the age of 14 years. The year 1987 was when she dropped her solo debut album after signing with Rounder Records. She was a part of the group which she continues to perform, Alison Krauss Union Station. The group released their debut album in 1989.
