Simone Biles
Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on the 14th of March 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. The 2016 Olympics took place at Rio de Janeiro and Biles became one of the U.S.'s only female gymnast ever to win 4 gold medals. Biles also took home the world title for all-around 3 times in succession (2013-15). Biles grew up within Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area after her and her sister Adria received adoption by grandparents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone's fascination with gymnastics started at age six, during a trip with her group of daycare children to Bannon Gymnastix. Simone remained in the hands of Aimee Borman's coaching until the year 2011. Biles, who won silver and gold medals at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in floor and vault prior to her first appearance in 2011 with the elite category of competition. Two years later, she was the most dominant athlete in the field. Biles was notable for her consistency in performance, vivacious character, as well as the difficulty she encountered across each of the four events: vault, uneven bars, and the balance beam.
