Annie Murphy

Annie Murphy, also known as Anne Frances Murphy, was born in the year 1986. The Canadian native has been working in the film industry in a myriad of projects. Her most well-known work is playing the character Alexis Rose in the CBC sitcom television series Schitt's Creek ran from 2015 until in 2020. She got critically acclaimed for her performance. She won the Primetime Emmy Award. She was born in Ottawa, Ontario Canada. Both her parents were teachers. Elmwood School was her first choice to attend in Ottawa and where she took part in various stage performances. When she graduated of Concordia University with a theatre degree, she then joined the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory. After that, she took acting classes at the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory. After that, she moved in Los Angeles at the age of 22, and pursued acting as a profession. Annie Murphy made her acting debut in 2007 with the crime thriller TV movie Lethal Obsession. The actress continued to act and performed small and extra roles in several movies. Some of them are popular such as Story of Jen which was made in the year 2008, Lick released in 2010 and another top-rated film A Windigo Tale which was made available in the same year. The actress also starred in Canadian TV series like Good God, which aired 2012 and Rookie Blue in the same. Her ability to do multiple projects is impressive. The beginning of her career Annie was an actress who struggled who had difficulty trying to show her worth and her skills to get recognition.
